[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide medicaid quality assurance analyst services to the government authority located in Baltimore, MD.  
- Participate in monitoring visits with the interagency medicaid monitoring team and provider interagency medicaid monitoring team. Review self-monitoring reports, medicaid paid claims, documentation, provider qualifications to ensure compliance with COMAR.
- Assist with analyzing data, preparing monitoring reports, reviewing CAPs, and providing technical
assistance.
- Participated in the review of LAFF grants, IGT, state blueprint funds, and medicaid rates and
reimbursement process.
- Participate in meetings, technical discussions, and prepare written reports interpreting and clarifying AW prospective providers eligibility and adherence to policies and provider service
requirements pursuant to implementing state AW, including the HCBS Final Rule. Provide
technical assistance and host statewide training workshops.
- Advise and assist field staff with policy interpretation to ensure that providers and prospective
providers adhere to federal medicaid requirements, COMAR 10.09.36, COMAR 10.09.50, COMAR
10.09.52, COMAR 10.09.56, COMAR 10.09.25, and COMAR 10.09.40. Prepare briefings and
guidance on new or revised regulations. Promote policies that enable school-based providers
and AW providers to deliver quality services.
- Assist with the renewal application for the AW and with review of information from data systems
to assist with End the Wait and technical eligibility screening for individuals on the AW waitlist.  
(2) All question must be submitted no later than November 24, 2023.  
(3) A contract period will be for one year.
